History of Medicine
Students begin their GCSE History course with their development study. Covering 5000 years of history, the History of Medicine course examines the way in which ideas about the causes of disease, treatments and cures have developed from the Ancient Egyptians through to the twentieth century. Pupils are then assessed on their understanding of this unit in BOTH their GCSE History exams.
