Weimar Germany 1919-33
Year 11 History starts with a study of Germany between 1919 and 1939. We start by examining the Weimar Republic that emerged following the fall of Kaiser Wilhelm II at the end of the First World War. We also see how Germany struggled to cope with the aftermath of defeat before recovering during the 1920's. Finally we explore how the frailties of the Weimar Republic ultimately contributed to the rise of Hitler.
